Included in this package is 2 STL’s of varying size and quality. Also included is 2 IGES files. One file detailing many of the fastener locations. The second IGES file details many of the mounting faces as planes. Please note, as per all scans all care is taken to ensure accuracy, but for critical measurements it is always best to reference the physical part.

Ford 302 Windsor Engine
One of the most popular V8’s when it comes to Ford based projects. This highly detailed scan was taken of a motor in racing configuration as noted by its custom sump and aftermarket oil filter mount with oil cooler outlets. Items not included in this scan are the water pump and intake manifold. The intake valley is cleared out and ready for a manifold of your choice.
The download file for this contains the engine model in STL format which has been aligned in the global coordinate system. Also a STEP file containing CAD primitives extracted from the mesh to help with alignment and accurate reproduction of geometry when modelling your own parts.
